1.
Start off by opening the tube your going to use...Do shift + D
to duplicate your tube window.. close the original..
2. Go to
Image/ Canvas Size and resize your tube window to 500 x 500.
3. Add a new
layer and drag below the tube layer.. right click on this
layer on the layer palette and RENAME it background... Rename
your tube layer also.. to Girl or what ever it is.. DUPLICATE
your tube layer now.
4. X out or
hide the original tube layer, and click on the duplicate layer
of tube. Use your selection tool
rectangle
Feather 0 and make a LONG *from top to bottom* selection of
the tube.. as thin as you can make it.. the trick is to get it
just one or two pixels wide.. it will look like nothing but a
dotted line when done.. I will show you WHY you have to make
it as thin as possible.. later.

5. After you
make the selection like shown above.. you go to selections
/INVERT and CUT or Delete on keyboard.. your
selection should look like the one below.

6.
Deformation tool
click on the center node and pull out to the left and do same
to the right.

Below shown
is the pulling the nodes out and how it looks. Pull it out a
little way PAST the edges of the canvas.. no lil crack there..
or it wont do right.

7. Go to
Effects/ Distortion effects/ Polar Coordinates, use the
settings below.

The sample
below shows if you made your selection too wide... it will not
line up and be seamless that's why its important to select
only one or two pixels wide.. if you don't pull the nodes past
the edges on the side also it will have a gap in the ring.

This is how
your ring should look.. you MIGHT have to RESIZE it about 65%
though.. don't want it too big

8. Apply Eye
Candy 4000 Glass effect on it using these settings below.

Lighting for
EC 4000 glass

9. Apply a 3D
shadow to the Ring using these settings below

10.
FRAME....Add a new raster layer on top of all the other
layers... fill with a darker coordinating color.. Selections/
select all / Float.. then go to Selections/Modify/ Contract
4 pixels... Delete on keyboard.. while its selected fill
with white.. go to Selections/ modify/ contract 2
pixels.. Delete on keyboard.. this is your frame if you want
one.. apply a 3D shadow on it.. like below.

11. Duplicate
the Ring layer 2 times so you have 3 Rings, the original ring,
leave same size.. on the next one up.. Resize to 70% on
the top duplicated Ring layer.. Resize 45%, position
them like you want them and merge the three ring layers.. NONE
of the other layers. Don't forget to name all your layers it
makes is so much better... After you have merged the 3 ring
layers.. DUPLICATE the new merged ring layer 2 times.. so you
have 3 of those layers.... Rename them Ring 1, 2 and 3.
On each of the Ring layers apply Xenofex 2 * Constellation*
plugin effect on them... using the settings below on the
first one.. then with each other.. keep same settings just
click the random seed button once.

12. If you
want you can add other elements to your project.. I put a
Christmas ornament on mine... the layer palette below shows
how mine looked.. I duplicated the ornament..2 times too so I
would have 3 layers of it.. to apply the Xenofex 2 on it.
When your all done with adding your elements and such... hide
2 of the Xenofex 2 layers of the Ring.. and if you put it on
anything else.. like I did.. I hid two of the bulb layers..
then you right click on the top of the canvas and COPY
MERGED.. You can now apply the brush I included in the
supplies zip now.. to the rings.. its matter of choice.

13. Then go
to your Animation shop and right click on the desk top and
paste as a New Animation.
14. Go back
to your PSP and hide the Ring layer you had showing and UNHIDE
one of the other ones... same with another element layer if
you have it.. click on top of window.. COPY MERGE...

15. Then back
to animation shop.. and right click on your new animation
there and paste/ after current frame.

16. Do this..
with the last of the Xenofex layers... like you did with the
other two.. unhide the last one... and hide the one that WAS
showing... COPY MERGE.. then in AS right click and
Paste after current frame.
SAVE AS a
GIF.. your done.. hope you enjoyed this tutorial..
TOODLES.
